Reducing emissions in your community with the Colorado Clean Diesel Program
This Oct. 27, 2022 webinar, presented by the Colorado Municipal League, gives an overview of the Colorado Clean Diesel Program with a particular focus on the needs of municipalities. The program funds electric versions of several types of equipment typically found in municipal fleets, including mowers, tractors, mini-ex’s, skid steers, mobile power units and light towers.
Grant Funding for Electric Tractors
If you’re in charge of a vineyard, farming, livestock or groundskeeping operation, you should be looking into electric tractors. They’re cleaner, quieter and way cheaper to operate. Plus, the Colorado Clean Diesel Program will reimburse up to 45% of the cost of replacing a diesel tractor with an electric one. This Nov. 18, 2021 webinar includes presentations by reps from the two companies leading the charge in bringing these cool machines to market, Solectrac and Monarch.
Grant Funding for Electric Lawn Mowers
Electric commercial lawn mowers are gaining in popularity because they eliminate two perennial industry complaints: noise and emissions. In this Oct. 28, 2021 webinar, reps from three manufacturers discuss their commercial-grade electric mowers, a user speaks about his experience, and Colorado Clean Diesel Program staff explain the grants available to cover up to 45% of the cost of replacing diesel mowers with electric ones.
Electric Construction Equipment – Cleaner, Quieter, and Now with Grant Funding!
The Colorado Clean Diesel Program makes grants of up to 45% of the cost of switching to certain types of construction equipment, including electric mini-excavators, skid steers, loaders and material handlers. This Sept. 30, 2021 webinar includes presentations from manufacturer reps and equipment users about where these technologies currently stand and how they stack up to conventional machines. Information on how to apply for a grant is also provided.
Greening the Slopes: New Options (and Funding!) for Cleaner Groomers and Snowmobiles
Hybrid-electric snow groomers are now in use in several major ski resorts and fully-electric snowmobiles will soon be commercially available for all snow-sport operations. In this April 28, 2021 webinar, manufacturer reps and equipment users discuss where these technologies currently stand, how they stack up to conventional machines, and how they can be integrated into fleets. The PistenBully 600E+ hybrid snow groomer and Taiga Motors’ fully-electric snowmobiles are highlighted.
Grant Funding for Hybrid and All-Electric Bucket Trucks
The Colorado Clean Diesel Program offers reimbursement grants between 25-45% of the cost of an eligible new bucket truck. This Sept. 17, 2020 webinar covers the funding available, the grant application process and some of the technology options available on the market, and includes presentations by reps from Altec and Lion Electric.
