CCDP has funding available for up to 45% of the project cost for replacing certain types of off-road diesel-powered vehicles and equipment with newer, cleaner technologies. We’re accepting smaller-dollar grant applications for up to $50,000 at this time: lawn mowers, skidsteers, farm tractors, and the like.

Mile High Foods invests in Orange EV terminal tractor

In 1901, Mile Hi Foods began as a horse-powered business, delivering food to Denver residents. More than a century later, the company is diving headfirst into the electric era by incorporating electric technologies and closely tracking their emissions. Mile Hi Foods received two grants from the Colorado Clean Diesel Program for a total of $302,052 in 2024 to acquire its first two all-electric terminal tractors.


“The more you can do to make driving and the driver comfortable, reduce stress, and keep them comfortable, it will pay the company back,” says Tom Lee, safety operations manager.

Why zero-emissions trucks see higher tire wear
