| Delta Airlines leads the charge at DEN with electric ground support |
Delta Airlines is bringing cleaner, quieter technology to the tarmac at Denver International Airport. With support from two Colorado Clean Diesel Program grants, Delta has added six all-electric baggage tugs and seven all-electric belt loaders to its ground support fleet.
These electric vehicles not only cut emissions and improve air quality, but also create a quieter, healthier work environment for the crews who keep flights moving every day.

| Sennebogen 824 G Electro Battery material handler promises 24/7 power |
Thanks to its innovative grid-connected/battery system, Sennebogen’s new 824 G Electro Battery material handler can run continuously without stopping to recharge. It is being put through its paces at a recycling site in Munich’s Aubing district.
With grant support from the Colorado Clean Diesel Program, Rocky Mountain Recycling received a similar Sennebogen material handler in 2024 (the 840 “E” R-HD Pylon 3m – Electric), bringing fuel savings, reduced operating costs, and quieter work conditions to their site.
It’s exciting to see these technology improvements in action: electric material handlers reduce noise on the job site, improving working conditions — and with the 824 G Electro Battery, continuous power means greater efficiency without the downtime of recharging.
